BE Scott’s loves and respects bbq. I got ribs, a pork sandwich, potato salad, beans, and pork rinds. All excellent. If you are in the greater Jackson area, make sure to go out of your way and pay them a visit.
Simple yet exquisite! I needed to kill some time, so I pulled in, and I’m glad I did! I had the bbq sandwich combo, $9.30 after tax. Their idea of a “medium “ sweet tea is bigger than most larges. The pork was perfectly cooked and tender. You have a choice of slaw, vinegar or mayonnaise; and a choice of sauce. The medium sauce has a kick. You order from the counter, and wait a few minutes, and then it’s ready. The dining area is large and comfortable. This is a popular place on Friday evening.
A short drive from the state park with great food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. The pulled pork and chicken were both delicious. We had beans, potato salad, and slaw which were all very good. We will definitely be back!
Counter-order spot with one of the best pork sandwiches in all of West Tennessee. Lightly smoked and incredibly soft and tender, you won’t find any char in their pulled pork—presumably a result of their smoking process and use of whole hogs. Piled high with choice of mayonnaise or vinegar slaw and hot or mild sauce, the sandwiches are a great value by themselves or in a combo with mustardy potato salad. Now serving tea in addition to canned cokes.
Best barbecue in my opinion ,I got the sandwich today ,it is the bomb!
I only had the large pulled pork sandwich with hot sauce and vinegar slaw on a Thursday at lunch. This was my first time there. The sandwich was full and had a good flavor. It was $4.50. Employees were very nice and seemed to know most of the customers that were coming in for lunch including what they usually order which is a nice touch. The place has plenty of seating [see pics]. Only downside was the bathrooms were outside. They were clean but very, very basic. I would recommend at least a topping by one time and trying it out for yourself!
